Mini Drug Store Haul

So I stopped by my local drugstore today and of coarse, I couldn't leave without checking out the make up isle. I usually save the best for last and fortunatelly, they had $3 off all Revlon products! I was super excited and here's what I picked up (I must say I initially picked up 5 different lipsticks but decided to buy just 1):

Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick Pearl in "Twinkled Pink"

Revlon Beyond Natural Defining Eye Pencil in Charcoal

Wetnwild Mega Eyes Black eyeshadow with tiny sparkles in Wicked/Coquine

The best part is that it costed me less than $10!!! So I'm going to try these products and if I like them, I'm definately going back to get more!

Painful but worth it...

I started my toothwhitening procedure a few days ago, using Crest Whitestrips Pro Effects, which can be purchased at any drug store or Target or Walmart.

You are supposed to use the stips for 10 days, wear each strip for 30 minutes twice a day. There are 40 strips in a box.

My first impression was that its painless and easy. Then I noticed that my teeth and gums are getting more and more sensitive after about 2 days of using it! After about 3 days of using it as directed, my whole mouth was practically in pain! However, it did make my teeth whiter and the pain goes away in about 12 hours.

So, I decided to compromise by using one strip a day before bed, that way it doesn't hurt as much and my teeth still get noticeably whiter. Now, I don't smoke and I try to brush my teeth after each meal, so it worked for me but I'm not sure how well it would work for those who smoke, for example.

Would I recommend this product? If you are super pain sensitive, then this product is probably not for you. The results are noticeable in about 5 days after using as directed, but you have to be ready to handle some pain...

Although it is really late for this tag I decided to go ahead and do it.....

1. I have a degree in Linguistics but I've decided not to work in that field

2. I'm constantly trying to lose weight. I used to walk 3 miles a day for a little less than 2 months and it really did work! I stopped walking about a month ago and now I'm trying to make myself start working out again.

3. I love reading even though I really don't have much time for it.

4. My favorite writer is Paolo Coelho - I love his books and I can totaly relate to many of his statements.

5. Although I like to experiment, I think I tend to be a little boring when it comes to make up. For example, every time I make up my mind to try a new color scheme, I end up going with my traditional pink/neutral look.

8. My style icon (in terms of make up) is Megan Fox

9. I would love to rent a pretty little house in Maine and spend my vacation there with my significant other!

Just a little something...

I found this dress on Forever21 website and I absolutely love it. To me, it seems like it could be a perfect dress for office (of coarse with some kind of a jacket on top) or going out (with the right accessories and make up). Anyway, I haven't found shoes or purse that I think would go well with it but that shouldn't be difficult since you can't go wrong with black and white color scheme...

I'm so excited! This is my first post in this blog and although I'm not really sure what exactly I'm going to write about, I'll try to make it interesting and definately unique!
